Motor Vehicle Register Notice

This Licensed Private Investigator and member of the New Zealand Institute of Private Investigators Incorporated is authorised to obtain the names and addresses of persons from the Motor Vehicle Register.

The information may be accessed when the information accessed is relevant to a matter that the Private Investigator is professionally engaged in and for one of the following authorised purposes:

• Preparing evidence related to criminal offences;
• The detection and investigation of suspected fraud;
• Enforcing Court orders and judgments; and
• When acting as a contracted agent on behalf of government agencies with law enforcement functions, to assist in carrying out those functions.

Information accessed from the registry may only be used for and only retained for as long as is required to achieve the specified purpose for which it was obtained.
